To ensure the standardization of bus shelters to be set up across all National highways across India, the proposed design comprises modular construction which is feasible to assemble. This simple, effective and human-centric modular design helps in segregation of activities without affecting the functionality of the bus shelter. The modules can be swapped according to the need of the context.   

The design idea is to propose four different typologies of 3m x 3m module which can be easily transported and assembled as per the location.  

 

1. PRAVESH : the accessibility of the shelter. 

2. PRATIKSHA : accommodate fluctuating influx of people. 

3. PRAPTI : revenue generation, which also leads to employment for local vendors. 

4. PRASADHAN : basic sanitary services.
