Livetream cafe was born out of the idea of being a 'neighbourhood cafe', a place that you frequently visit, an inclusive space that becomes a part of your daily routine. Placed on a busy road in the Piplod area, the cafe was designed to provide a place for quiet conversation away from the bustle of the city. The overall seating space is wrapped around by tall plantations, allowing just the right amount of privacy and noise control without isolating the space.
The 2000 sqft. space has an open plan with the coffee machine and brewing equipments sitting on a textured wooden counter that provides a point of contrast in the otherwise monochromatic color palette. Each seating space has its own charm, with the natural and artificial lights playing an important role in defining spaces. The draped tapestry, custom designed as a hanging light , becomes a focal point in the seating area. It features a point of visual interest as well as becomes a cozy nook to have conversations.
