The dental practice, which is located on the fourth floor of a commercial complex in Surat, was designed with the focus of minimizing the intimidating feeling usually perceived in any healthcare centre. It is conceived with the notion of balancing the functional medical requirements of dental clinic with a warm and soothing atmosphere for the patients.
The space only has access to natural light through its shorter facade and small windows on one side. With this in mind, the space is designed in a way that allows natural light to filter through partitions avoiding typical dark spots.  Spatially, a central walkway lined with partitions of fluted glass leads to the treatment rooms. The fluted glass-panels conceal the treatment rooms visually while allowing the natural light to pass through. Minimal palette with white walls and oak wood veneer integrated with subtle artwork form an open, inviting space where patients can feel relaxed and stress-free.
